We are committed to the out calling of Jesus Christ through equipping believers and evangelizing the world. Ecclesia is comprised of a two-part word in Greek. Ex meaning out and caleo meaning calling are words combined together to form ecclesia. When Jesus said, “upon this rock I will build my church”, the word church is translated into English from the word, ecclesia. We believe you and I are called to be the out calling of Jesus Christ.
Online.
“For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.” -Hebrews 6:10
Our understanding is disciples make disciples. We will pastor you until you find a community of believers to grow together with. Once you find a community of believers to join, we will still be here to teach you what life looks like as the out calling of Jesus Christ. Our goal is to disciple you to make disciples through online teaching, real-world application, and accountability to follow through on God’s commands. You will find online teaching videos here to help you fulfill your purpose as a follower of Jesus.
Outside.
“Therefore go into the highways, and as many as you find, invite to the wedding.” -Matthew 22:9
Our community is our mission. What does God want you to do today? We believe God placed you in the community you’re in on purpose. Our mission is not to build a kingdom of our own, but to build the kingdom through going out into our communities to share the good news of Jesus Christ with every person we meet. Life Ticket’s mission statement is “loving every person we meet into a better life in Jesus Christ.” We can’t love people if we don’t get out to meet them. We are committed to leaving our place of comfort to reach the comfortless. We host outreach events in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area to meet the needs of families in our community and use these events as opportunities to tell people how much Jesus loves them.
Overseas.
“Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.” -James 1:27
Our orphans will not be left behind. We believe there should be something in our lives that we are on a mission to do that if God does not show up then it is impossible to accomplish. Mission Impossible for us is that we believe there should be absolutely no orphans in this world. No child should be left uncared for lacking food, shelter, and the basic necessities for survival. Truly this is an impossible mission, but we believe with God all things are possible. We provide resources to sustain our orphanages and plant churches to further the gospel in underserved geographic areas to unreached people groups across the world.
